The Double Chalice Bowl: F4/C5
Introducing the F4/C5 Double Chalice Bowl.
This is the newest evolution of our Double Chalice design, featuring a pairing of F4 and C5, which each bowl being handmade and selected for it's pairing.
The lower bowl, an F4 at approximately 5.5-5.9 inches, delivers a centered, grounding tone with body and presence.
The upper bowl, a C5 at 4.5-4.8inches, offers a bell-like clarity with fast resonance and a slightly shimmering decay.
Together, they create a perfect fifth interval, one of the most stable and harmonically rich relationships in music.
In contrast to our original C/G Double Chalice, which emphasized low-end power and spaciousness, this F/C pairing feels tighter, cleaner, and slightly more elevated, a totally different soundscape to explore.
The result is a tonal profile that balances structure and brightness without overwhelming the senses. It’s precise, elegant, and unmistakably harmonious.
Each bowl is hand-hammered in Kathmandu from bell bronze and selected by ear for its resonance and pitch stability. Only pairs that naturally fall into this interval are chosen.
